I’m not really sure what I expected to happen when I asked the internet to buy me an Xbox, but I certainly didn’t expect it to happen inside three days. It did, though, and I’ve ordered it and now I’ve got to make good on my promise: Simple.Data 2.0-alpha1 will be upon the world very soon. Know that my eight-year-old daughter will be badgering me on your behalf, so the pressure will remain firmly on.
A huge thank you to everybody who pitched in, it means a lot, whether you did it to accelerate Simple.Data 2.0 or, as some of you did, just "because". Contrary to appearances, I’m actually quite insecure (and suffer from chronic impostor syndrome), so this kind of validation is very good for me.
OK: now to get on with it and get this thing done. There are probably a few good blog posts to write as I go, talking about things like awaitable dynamics and graph construction and such, so you’ll be able to keep tabs on my progress, if that’s your bag. And when I get to a point where you might be able to reasonably clone the GitHub repo and build something, I’ll let you know.
